 To draw the earth, first use a Line Tool. Then, use Direct Selection Tool.

Drawing the 'earth glow' is the same as drawing the earth.

 Use Blur Tool to blur the line and make the glowing effect.

Texture added.

'Overlay' selected.
'Brush' + 'white' used on the texture to whiten it.
